Your first step after uploading BuddyPress 1.0 RC-2 should be to move the themes (or templates) into the appropriate locations. These destinations vary from older versions.

You will find your default themes here:
wp-content >> plugins >> buddypress >> buddypress-theme

This directory (or folder) will contain 2 separate themes. The buddypress-home theme is intended for use on your entire site. The buddypress-member theme is intended for use on member profiles.

So where do you put the BuddyPress themes?

BuddyPress Home Theme
Original Location:
wp-content >> plugins >> buddypress >> buddypress-theme >> buddypress-home
Destination Location:
wp-content >> themes >> buddypress-home

BuddyPress Member Theme
Original Location:
wp-content >> plugins >> buddypress >> buddypress-theme >> member-themes
Destination Location:
wp-content >> member-themes

The last thing you must do is rename the member-themes directory. Rename it bp-themes.
This will make your new path:
wp-content >> bp-themes

Inside your bp-themes folder, you will find buddypress-member. This is your actual default members theme.
