BuddyPress & bbPress - Moving The buddypress-enable Plugin

BuddyPress Tutorials, bbPress Tutorials April 27th, 2009

Before your BuddyPress & bbPress installations will work together, you need to move a plugin.

The plugin can be found in the following location:
wp-content >> plugins >> buddypress >> bp-forums >> bbpress-plugins >> buddypress-enable.php

Assuming that you’ve put your bbPress installation in your root folder, in a directory called ‘forums’, move your buddypress-enable.php to the following path:
forums >> bb-plugins >> buddypress-enable.php

This plugin must be enabled via your forums admin dashboard.

*Note: If you are in the process of following my tutorial about Integrating WPMU, BuddyPress & bbPress, do not worry about activation at this point. First of all, it’s impossible because forums aren’t installed. Secondly, we’ll get to that later.
